She is happily married and a mother to two amazing daughters. Dr. Khurana believes it is important to show her daughters how to be happy, healthy, and productive citizens in this world. As a role model she teaches them values to follow and skills important for success. She has implemented this through the years by creating nonprofits for Dyslexia and Cultural awareness, becoming a Girl Scout troop leader, volunteering in medical clinics, including Chandler Care Center, and by working on research that will improve the lives of patients. She proudly works with Arizona State University, Phoenix Children’s Hospital and the University of Arizona to provide resources and screening tools that her patients and others in her community can utilize.
